Annapurna sanctuary trekking is one of the classic treks in Nepal. It is also called the Annapurna Base Camp Trek. The route is specially designed for those trekkers who love to see and enjoy the flora and fauna and panoramic view of the Himalayan range. The trekking route takes to the most spectacular mountain scenery, charming settlements of Gurungs and their slate-roofed houses, incredible rhododendron forests and deep sub-tropical valleys. While having trek, you will pass through the gorgeous lowlands of the wonderful high mountains and breathtaking scenes of the Annapurna range.
Annapurna Sanctuary Trekking begins in the terraced foothills close to Pokhara. The route passes through the Gurung villages of Ghandrunk and Chomrong where you will spend a night and then pass through rhododendron and bamboo forests of Hinko cave and slowly having views of Annapurna South and Machapuchare, you climb high above the Modi Khola River from where you can see the mountains such as Machapuchare Base Camp, (3700m), and Annapurna base camp, (4,130m) and you will descend down to Chomrong village following back the same route. Finally, the trial continues to Jhinu Danda where there is a Natural Hot Spring Water, and to Siwui passing rivers, forest, and beautiful natural Sceneries, and drive back to Pokhara.
