Langtang valley trekking is considered to be one of the most demanded and well-loved trekking trails in Nepal. It is situated in the north of Kathmandu. This trekking offers a multitude of trekking destinations. Langtang valley lies at the south of the Tibetan border and it is a sandwiched between the main Himalayan range to the north and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south. Langtang Lirung (7246m) lies to the north; Gang Chhenpo(6388m) and Naya Kanga Ri (5846m) lies to the south and Dorje Lakpa(6966m) at the east of the valley. Langtang Valley is primarily known for having the trekking in the remotest part to the amazing valley of Langtang region, where you can have an exciting moment at high mountain lakes Goshainkunda and the beautiful valley ’Helambu’ and you can also visit Langtang National park.

Langtang valley trekking begins with the drive along the Trisuli River north of Kathmandu, through Trishuli Bazaar; then you will reach to Dhunche and finally reach Syabrubensi, a Sherpa village, and farmlands of the people. Many villagers are originally from Tibet. Once this route was an important trading route with Tibet, therefore, most of the villagers and peoples here still are involved in a trade. On the way of trekking, you also can have a trekking through Langtang National Park as it is located at the very edge of the Park. Similarly, you also have chance to see some wild animals and birds such as monkeys, musk deer, Pika and the national bird of Nepal, the colorful Danphe then you will continue trekking to Kyangjin Gompa (3,740 m), in between, you will cross many rivers along a gorge and pass through oak and rhododendron forests and glacial moraine. After a overnight stay in Gompa, you will visit the local yak cheese factory and have a view of the glaciers, which is also a gateway to Tibet and return back to Syabru village and make a trip to Sing Gompa, a place where the holy lake Gosainkund is situated and we cross the Llaurebena Pass (4610m) and continue south leaving the Langtang region and reach Helambu valley and subsequently at Chisapani and return back to Kathmandu

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft) and transfer to Hotel, then Alliance Adventure Pvt. Ltd will brief about your trip to  Langtang. Overnight at Hotel – BB.

Day 02: Drive to Syabru Besi

Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi (1,440m/4,725ft) 6 to 7 hours. During the journey you will see the countryside of lifestyle in Nepal, that’s offering Trishuli river, green hill, farms and beautiful sceneries. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 03: Trek to Lama Hotel

Trek from Syabru Basi to Lama Hotel (2,470m/8,100ft) 6 to 7 hours. After breakfast, the trek through along the river, waterfall, truly oak, bamboo and rhododendron forest and guide will stop for lunch in Bamboo (1,960m/6,430ft) riverside and enjoy the sceneries. After lunch gently climb to Lama Hotel. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 04: Trek to Langtang village

Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430m/11,255ft) 5 to 6 hours. The trekking through the river, oak, pine, and rhododendron forest and catch views of Mt. Langtang Lirung. Along the w, y local people’ will ask you test local mountain organic juice and yak mill. Langtang village is Tibetan and Tamang village. After check in the lodge explore the village. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 05: Trek to Kyangjin Gompa

Trek from Langtang village to Kyanjing Gomba (3,870m/12,700ft) 3 to 4 hours. Today the trek will be more enjoyable with surrounded by snow-capped peaks. During the trek, trail following a river, big chorten’s mane walls, Kyanjing Gomba is very famous Yak cheese production and one of oldest Gompa in Langtang trek. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 06: Hiking to Kyanjing Ri and Rest

Hiking to Kyanjing Ri (4,350m/14,268ft) 3 to 4 hours and Rest in Lodge. Early breakfast steeply climbs to Kyanjing Ri and will see breathtaking panoramic views of Langtang Peaks, spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 07: Trek back to Lama Hotel

Trek from Kyanjing Gomba to Lama Hotel (2,470m/8,100ft) 5 to 6 hours. After breakfast same way following walking down to Lama Hotel via Langtang Village. Along the trail, you will enjoy sceneries and sound of birds. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 08: Trek to Thulo Syabru

Trek from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru (2,260m/7415ft) 5 to 6 hours. The trail through into the forest and river along to bamboo then Pairo, after Pairo walking the left-hand side following to Thulo Syabru, can see truly amazing panoramic views of Ganesh Hill and best sceneries. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 09: Trek to Laurebinayak

Trek from Thulo Syabru to Laurebinayak (3,920m/12,875ft) via Shin Gomba 5 to 6 hours. The trail through Dimsa village and rhododendron, hemlock, Oak forests, fantastic views of Ganesh Himal and Langtang range, another popular Cheese factory in Shin Gomba. After lunch trek continues to Laurebinayak where there is one of the best panoramic views and amazing countryside sceneries. Overnight at Lodge – B.L.D

Day 10: Trek to Gosaikunda

Trek from Laurebinayak to Gosainkunda (4,420m/14,500ft) 3 to 4 hours: In the morning you catch the sunrise over the Himalayan of  Annapurna range, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and Langtang Lirung.  Trek through the alpine countryside, after checking in Lodge we will explore Gosainkund lake which is Holy Lake in Nepal as become Trishul river first origin point. Overnight at Lodge – B.L.D

Day 11: Trek back to Sing Gompa

Trek from Gosainkunda to Shin Gomba (Chandan Bari) (3,250m/10,660ft) 5 hours:  After breakfast, we walk down the same way as a day before and after check in the lodge we will visit a Cheese factory. Overnight at Lodge – B.L.D

Day 12: Trek to Dhunche Bazaar then drive back to Kathmandu

Trek from Shin Gomba to Dhunche Bazaar (1,965m/6,450ft) 3 to 4 hours then Drive back to Kathmandu 5 hours: Today is the last day trekking and different trail into the big thick rhododendron forest as we heard amazing sound of many birds. and after lunch journey passing through terraces, streams, rivers, local settlements, hills, and rivers then Check into the Hotel rest and free. Overnight at Hotel – BB

Day 13: Sightseeing in world Heritage site and Farewell Dinner

Sightseeing of World Heritage site at Kathmandu Durbar Square – Kumari House, Swoyambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple and finally Nepali Culture Dinner as you will be hand over your trekking permit and Tims Card. Overnight at Hotel – BB

Day 14: Departure your Destination

Departure to International Airport. Today is last minutes shopping, packing and Alliance Adventure will take you to the airport for your onward destination to your own country.

  • Entrance to some temples may be prohibited for non-Hindus & Leather articles are prohibited inside temple precinct.
  • Windproof outer jacket and warm down-filled jacket if afraid of cold.
  • Comfortable trousers for men and loose skirts for women during the day.
  • Gloves, hat or cap, sunglasses, sunblock, lip balm, etc. To avoid sunburn as the sun in high altitude can be quite intense.
  • Masi-Guard Insect Repellent Spray and Muscle-ache cream.
  • Lightweight trekking waterproof shoes, warm woolen/ thermal socks. (If someone is afraid of cold, otherwise, plain ordinary socks will be sufficient.
  • Thermal undergarments this is for the night which might be a bit cold, otherwise, tracksuit should suffice.
  • Flashlight and spare batteries.
  • You must start to train yourself when you are free once a week once or one day hiking in Mountain in your country or up and down 2/3 hours morning OR evening.
  • We need your flight details and documents of your passport photocopy and Passport size photo for the trekking permit and Tims cards.
  • 50% per person deposit to company account and rest of balance when you arrive at Kathmandu airport clear the payment in the office.
