Annapurna royal trekking is a short and an easy trekking in Annapurna region. It is also one of the most popular trekking in the region in the sense that it provides magnificent views of mountains including Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Machhapuchhare, also known as fishtail mountain among others. The royal trekking is considered to be one of the ideal trekking especially for those who want to explore the village life and superb views of the majestic Himalayas within a short span of time. The royal trekking route goes through the villages and farmland close to Pokhara and makes an excursion around the majestic Himalayas. The trekking to this area provides tourists opportunities for exploring the unique lifestyle and warm hospitality unique traditional culture of indigenous communities living in the area.

The trekking to this area begins from the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara and passes through beautiful Gurung hamlets and ends at another. While having trek, you will enjoy the astonishing views of Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Fishtail, Lamjung Himal, Dhaulagiri and other snow-capped mountains lying around. This trekking takes you about four days round through the Himalayan foothills and making an excursion around the trekking ends at Begnas Tal, then drive back to Pokhara. This is very enjoyable trek especially for those who have only limited time.  The royal trekking was named especially after Prince Charles of Britain had visited this route in the early eighties.  The trail leads you through the villages set among the cultivated fields and meeting the people is a quite unforgettable experience. One of the important things, you have to remember about this trekking is that there are accommodations such as lodges and other facilities in this route, so tourists and all staffs must be fully self-sufficient, meaning this trekking is possible only by camping. Until and unless you are with the Alliance Adventure Pvt. Ltd you do not have to worry about anything.

PACKAGE DETAILS

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft) and transfer to Hotel then Alliance Adventure Pvt. Ltd will brief about your trip in Nepal. Overnight at Hotel – BB.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Pokhara

Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (9,50m/3,116ft) 6 to 7 hours. During the journey you will see the countryside of lifestyle, that’s offering green hill, rivers, farms and beautiful sceneries. Overnight at Hotel – BB.

Day 03: Drive from Pokhara to Bijayapur Khola than trek to Kalikasthan

Drive from Pokhara to Bijayapur Khola 1 hour than trek to Kalikasthan (1,370m/4,496ft) 4 to 5 hours.  After breakfast drive to Bijayapur Khola, then start to walk an hour through flat paddy fields and river. After crossing the river the trail starts to ascend to Kalikasthan. The lunch will be served midway through the climb. After arriving at Kalikasthan rest and explore the surrounding local cultures with enjoying the views. Overnight at local Guesthouse OR (Camping – Tent)  – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 04: Trek from Kalikasthan to Syaklung

Trek from Kalikasthan to Syaklung (1,730m/5,675ft) 5 to 6 hours. The trail leads walking through into the villages. You are walking along the ridge of the mountain which offers good views of Annapurna and Lamjung Himal. During the trekking, you will explore many villages and local cultures and the rhododendron forests. Overnight at local Guesthouse OR (Camping – Tant) – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 05: Trek from Syaklung to Chisapani

Trek from Syaklung to Chisapani (1,550m/5,084ft) 5 to 6 hours.  Trekking through the Gurung village gives an opportunity to observe the local lifestyle. You are moving ahead playing a game of hiding and seek with the rhododendron and Sal trees. The halfway through the walk there is a 400m to 600m ascent for us to arrive at Chisapani. This is the best viewpoint to see the Himalayan Panorama. You will see Mount Dhaulagiri which one is a 7th Highest mountain in the world to the west of Annapurna. Overnight at local Guesthouse OR (Camping – Tent) – Including Breakfast, Luch & Dinner

Day 06: Trek from Chisapani to Pokhara

Trek from Chisapani to Pokhara. Today is your last day of trekking, walking into the half down the hill to Rupatal and climb about 200m to arrive at Sundare Danda. After 15/20 minutes walk down to Begnas Tal and enjoy an hour of boating. After that transfer to Pokhara Hotel, check into the hotel and explore the Lakeside. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast & Lunch

Day 07: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu 200km 6 to 7 hours. The journey through the Pirthipi high way road passing by terraces, streams, rivers, local settlements, hills and along the Marshyndi and Trishuli rivers. Check the Hotel rest and free. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast

Day 08: Sightseeing in Kathmandu world Heritage site and Farewell Dinner

Swayambhunath Stupa (3km west of Kathmandu), stands top of the top hill and people mostly knows as “Monkey Temple”. This has been registered in UNESCO heritage at 1979 AD.

Kathmandu Durbar Square is historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu’s Landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites; including the historic Durbar Square, the houses of living Hindu goddess and “Kumari House’’.the only living goddess in the world. It was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument list in 1979 AD.

Buddhanath Stupa (8km east of Kathmandu), is one of the largest stupas in Nepal and in the world and Number of monasteries and Tibetan artifacts selling the shop. The stupa was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument list in 1979 AD.

Pashupatinath Temple (5km east of Kathmandu), Pashupatinath is the Hindus holy pilgrims, most important Hindu Temple in Nepal and all over from India.  Bathing at occasionally, funeral pyres burning on the Ghats and Stands on the banks of Bagmati River.The temple was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument list in 1979 AD.

Day 09: Departure your Destination

Departure to Tribhuvan International Airport. Today is last minutes shopping, packing and Alliance Adventure send to the airport for your onward destination to your own country. Included Breakfast

  • Entrance to some temples may be prohibited for non-Hindus.
  • Leather articles are prohibited inside temple precinct.
  • Windproof outer jacket and warm down-filled jacket if afraid of cold.
  • Comfortable trousers for men and loose skirts for women during the day.
  • Gloves, hat or cap, sunglasses, sunblock, lip balm, etc, to avoid sunburn as the sun in high altitude can be quite intense.
  • Lightweight trekking shoes, warm woolen/ thermal socks. (If one is afraid of cold, otherwise, plain ol’ ordinary socks will suffice.
  • Thermal undergarments this is for the night which might be a bit cold, otherwise, tracksuit should suffice.
  • Flashlight and spare batteries.
  • When you are free hiking in your country or up and down 2/3 hours morning OR evening.
  • We have to need your flight detail with airline name.
  • We have to need your passport photocopy and passport size photo for the trekking permit and Tims cards.
  • Per person, 50% deposit in the company account and rest of balance whence you arrive in Hotel then clear the payment in the office.
  • Nepal visa can apply on arrival gate in Kathmandu airport immigration. Nepal visa charge for 15 Days USD25 and for 30 Days USD 40.
