Gokyo Lake Trek is the another most popular trekking trails in the Everest region. It is popular in the sense that you will have a chance to tour around the mountain valley and the Lake called Gokyo Lake, located 4,750 m height, means you will explore the wide range of scenario of majestic Himalayas and build a close relationship with nature. Gokyo Lake Trek is perhaps the most amazing trekking route because the trail follows closest to the Everest base camp. Gokyo valley trekking is an alternative route to traditional trails to the Everest base camp. Gokyo Ri is one of the excellent viewpoints in Everest region. The Gokyo Lake Trek starts from a gateway to Lukla, then the trails follow along with the bank of Dudh Koshi River. After having two night stay for acclimatization at Namche, the beautiful Sherpa village, it reaches to Gokyo lake and have the views of the Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Cho-Oyu, Mt. Makalu, and other neighboring Himalayas lying around and finally making excursion to the whole around, you will return back to Lukla and then Kathmandu. Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft) and transfer to Hotel, then visit Alliance Adventure will brief about your trip Gokyo Lake Trek. Overnight at Hotel – Included Dinner
Day 02: Flight to Lukla Airport then Trek to Phakding
Flight from Kathmandu Domestic Airport to Lukla airport (2840m/9,315ft) about 30/35 minutes flight then trek to Phakding (2610m/8,560ft) 3 hours OR Monjo (2,835m/9,299ft) 5 hours. You will catch a glimpse of some great mountains such as Nupla (5,885m/19,302ft) above Kongde Ridge, Kusum Kang (6,367m) appears on the right a little later. All along you will be following the northern (left) bank of the Dudh Kosi River. It is important to take these first few days slowly to enable your body to acclimatize and to enjoy the passing scenery and culture. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar
Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft) 6 to 7 hours. Namche Bazaar is one of the biggest market towns in Everest region as Acclimatization place of trekking and expedition. Today trek begins on the level ground, relative to the environment in which you are! You will cross the river on a high suspension bridge and begin to climb up to Monjo (2,835m) and onto the gateway to the Sagarmatha National Park Entrance. There is a good rest stop on the way up to where you will see people gathered, admiring the first real chance to see Everest in the distance. On the way up today, you will be rewarded with views of Kusum Kangaru, Thamserku, Konde-Ri and Tawache Peak than we reach Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 04: Rest and Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar
Rest and Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar. Today your Guides will take you to Visitor Center of headquarter Sagarmatha National Park where we can observe an assortment of things related to the first Everest ascendance, Sherpa culture and learn about the life of various plants and animals of the Everest region. Everest view Hotel (3,880m/12,727ft) which is the highest 5star Altitude Hotel in the world lies here. Namche Bazaar is the main center of the Everest (Khumbu) region and has government offices, Internet cafes, shops, restaurants, a bakery and a colorful market each Friday evening and Saturday. Day 05: Trek to Khumjung Village
Trek from Namche Bazaar to Khumjung Village (3,790m/12,431ft) 3 hours and again Rest and Acclimatization in Khumjung Village and Explore Hillary School. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 06: Trek to Dole
Trek from Khumjung Village to Dole (4,200m/13,776ft) 5 to 6 hours. Ancient historical Chorten stands at the center of the settlements of Mong La Danda and after lunch trek through to Dole. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 07: Trek to Machhermo
Trek from Dole to Machhermo (4,470m/14,662ft) 4 to 5 hours. Machhermo has Himalayan Rescue Association and knows about what’s the mountain sickness and international volunteer Doctors will brief you about the high-altitude sickness. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 08: Trek to Gokyo
Trek from Machhermo to Gokyo Lake (4,790m/15,712ft) 5 hours. Amazing natural lakes and views along the trek. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 09: Summit to Gokyo Ri
Early breakfast and trek to Gokyo Ri (5380m/17,647ft) 3 hours from the Lodge to summit peak and from the summit will be seeing one of the amazing spectacular Himalayan views, snow covering mountains including Mt. Everest (which one is the highest peak in the world), Lakes and Glaciers. Rest in Gokyo Lake. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 10: Trek to Phortse Tanga
Trek from Gokyo Lake to Phortse Tanga (3,680m/12,070ft) 5 to 6 hours. After breakfast, the trekking trail will be same way following back to Phortse Tanga. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 11: Trek to Monjo
Trek from Phortse Tanga to Monjo (2,835m/9,299ft) 5 to 6 hours. After breakfast, the trail leads an hour climb to Mong La Danda, walk down to Sanasa then trail follow to Namche Bazaar by busy trail to Everest Base Camp. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 12: Trek to Lukla Airport
Trek from Monjo to Lukla airport (2,840m/9,315ft) 4 to 5 hours. Today is your last day trekking in Solukhumbu and celebration of your successful Gokyo Lake Trek in your lodge. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu
Early morning Flight from Lukla airport to Kathmandu Domestic Airport and Alliance Adventure staff will come to pick-up you then transfer to Hotel and enjoy the Hot shower with rest as free. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast
Day 14: Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Farewell Dinner

Day 15: Departure to Tribhuvan International Airport

- Thermal undergarments this is for the night which might be a bit cold, otherwise, tracksuit should suffice.

- You must start your train yourself when you are free or once a week once a day hiking in your country mountain or up and down 2/3 hours morning OR evening.
- We need your flight detail and passport photocopy and Passport size photo for the trekking permit and Tims cards.
- 50% per person deposit to company account and rest of balance when you arrive at Kathmandu airport clear the payment in the office.
- Nepal visa can apply on arrival visa in Kathmandu airport immigration. You need to stay your Hotel name or local agency details. Nepal visa charge for 15 Days USD25 and for 30 Days USD 40.
