Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is another popular trail lying in the Annapurna region. The trekking to this area is also popularly known as Annapurna balcony trekking. This trekking is one of the easiest trekking trails in comparison with other trekking trails in the country. This trekking trail offers you superb views of the mountains, scenes and sceneries and beautiful blend of culture and lifestyle of different ethnic groups living in the area.  The trail passes through the rhododendron forests, endangered animals, and birds. Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek takes you to the west of Pokhara and gives magnificent views of the Himalayas lying in the Annapurna area. One of the features of Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking is that you will have a trip to Poon hill, from where we can see an amazing scenes of sunrise and you also can cherish an incredible panoramic views of the mountains such as Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Annapurna (8,091m) Fishtail (6997m) Annapurna South, Himchuli among others. Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek begins from Pokhara via Nayapul, the trail continues along the Modi Khola to Birethati and climbs up to Ulleri via Tikhedunga and trek to Ghorepani, from here you can not only see the sunrise but also the panoramic views of the Himalayas including Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m), Mt. Nilgiri (7040m),  Annapurna south (7219m), Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Hunchuli (6441m), fishtail or Machhapuchhare (6998m), Lamjung Himal (6986m), Dhampus peak (6012m) among others. PACKAGE DETAILS

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft) and transfer to Hotel then visit Alliance Adventure Pvt. Ltd will brief about your trip Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking. Overnight at Hotel – Included Dinner

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara

Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (9,50m/3,116ft) 6 to 7 hours. During the journey you will be seeing the countryside of lifestyle, that’s offering green hills, rivers, farms and beautiful sceneries. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast

Day 03: Drive to Nayapull then trek to Tikhedunga or Ulleri

Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul (1,010m/3,313ft) 1.5 hours then trek to Ulleri (2,010m/6,600ft) 5 hours. The trekking will be along the road until Hile (1495M/4,905ft) and enjoy the river views and sceneries. After reaching Tikhedhunga then steps up to Ulleri which is above three thousand stone steps. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani

Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,840m/9,315ft) 4 to 5 hours. After breakfast, the trail will be leading through peace jungle, waterfall and the small market town of Ghorepani. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 05: Hike to Poon Hill then trek to Tadapani

Early morning Hike to Poon Hill (3,210m/10,529ft) 1 hour and trek to TadaPani (1,190m/3,904ft) 5 to 6 hours. Today you will see the amazing sunrise and spectacular views of Annapurna range and wonderful panoramic view of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m) which is the 8th Highest mountain in the world. Tada means “Far” and Pani means “water”. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and tea, coffee

Day 06: Trek to Ghandhruk Village, then drive to Pokhara

Trek from Tadapani to Ghandhruk Village (1,950m/6,396ft) 3 hours, then drive back Pokhara 2.5 hours.The trial will be leading into the biggest and oldest Rhododendrons forest,  explore the traditional culture of the Gurung Museum and 2nd biggest Gurung village in Nepal. After lunch drives back to Pokhara and Check into the Hotel, rest, and free.  Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast, Lunch

Day 07: Flight back to Kathmandu

Flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu 25 minutes. Half day explore in Pokhara valley and a late afternoon flight back to Kathmandu and Farewell Dinner for Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast & Dinner

Day 08: Departure Your Destination

Departure to Tribhuvan International Airport. Today is last minutes shopping packing and Alliance Adventure drive you to the airport for your onward destination to your own country. Included Breakfast

  • Entrance to some temples may be prohibited for non-Hindus and Leather articles are prohibited inside temple precinct.
  • Windproof outer jacket and warm down-filled jacket if afraid of cold.
  • Comfortable trousers for men and loose skirts for women during the day.
  • Gloves, hat or cap, sunglasses, sunblock, lip balm, etc, to avoid sunburn as the sun in high altitude can be quite intense.
  • Lightweight trekking shoes, warm woolen/ thermal socks. (If one is afraid of cold, otherwise, plain ol’ ordinary socks will suffice.
  • Thermal undergarments this is for the night which might be a bit cold, otherwise, tracksuit should suffice.
  • Flashlight and spare batteries.
  • You must train yourself when you are free once a week once a day or hiking in your country mountain or up and down 2/3 hours morning OR evening.
  • We need your flight detail and passport photocopy and passport size photo for the trekking permit and Tims cards.
  • 50% deposit into the company account and rest of balance whence you arrive in Kathmandu airport then clear the payment in the office.
  • Nepal visa can apply on arrival visa in Kathmandu airport immigration. Nepal visa charge for 15 Days USD25 and for 30 Days USD 40.
