Ganjala Pass trekking is another popular and well-loved trekking trails in Langtang region. However, this region has so far remained one of the attractive trekking corners in Nepal.  Ganja la pass trekking starts from Syabru Besi and ends at Melamchi Pul Bazar. From Sybru Besi, you will follow Langtang River to the east until you get to Kyanjin Gompa (3,049 m), where there is a small Buddhist monastery and a cheese factory initiated 1955 by the Swiss Association for Technical Assistance. On the way, you can have spectacular views of Langtang Lirung, Tibetan peaks, and other mountains. You have a rest at Kyanjin Gompa for about a day for acclimatization.  Next day, you head up to Ganja La Pass (5122m), from there we can have magnificent views of villages and pristine Himalayas etc.

The tea house facilities are not available in Ganja La region; hence trekking should be fully supported and self-sufficient to meet all requirement and contingencies. The highest point of this trek is Ganja La Pass (5,122m). Once you make a trip in the area, you descend from the pass which is on a steep slope for over 1 km. Only camping trekking is possible for the area, After passing the Ganja La Pass, the trail takes you to Malemchi village and Tarke Ghyang, where people follow the Buddhist religion so you will find many old Buddhist monasteries in the villages and trekking trail continue to descend to Melamchi Pul bazaar then by private vehicle or by bus, you return back to Kathmandu.
