Langtang Trek begins with the drive along the Trishuli River north of Kathmandu, through Trishuli Bazaar; then you will reach to Dhunche and finally reach Syabru besi, a Sherpa village, and farmlands of the people. Many villagers are originally from Tibet. Once this route was an important trading route with Tibet, therefore, most of the villagers and people here still are involved in a trade. On the way of trekking, you also can have a trek through Langtang National Park as it is located at the very edge of the Park. Similarly, you also have chance to see some wild animals and birds such as monkeys, musk deer, Pika and the national bird of Nepal, the colorful Danphe then you will continue trekking to Kyangjin Gompa (3,740 m), in between, you will cross many rivers along a gorge and pass through oak and rhododendron forests and glacial moraine. After an overnight stay in Gompa, you will visit the local yak cheese factory and have a view of the glaciers, which is also a gateway to Tibet and return back to Syabru village and make a journey return back to Kathmandu after having gorgeous Langtang Trek.
