Manaslu Trek is one of the well-known and well-loved trekking trails in the country. Mt. Manaslu [8163m] is the eight highest peaks in the world, was opened for the trekking purpose only in 1992. It is located near the border of Nepal and Tibet. The name Manaslu means “The spirit-mountain”, the local dialects refer it to be the benevolent and strong deity that dwells within. The Mt. Manaslu is one of the most challenging and yet untouched mountain lying in western part of Nepal

Manaslu Trek is a popular trekking trail as it provides a pristine mountain views, rich culture, and genuine adventure. You will have perfect views of mountains, a combination of rich cultural heritage, genuine adventure, incomparable beauty and biological variety in the region. You also will have a chance to explore the spectacular beauty along the border of Nepal and Tibet. It is one of the controlled trekking routes, allowing organizing trekking only in groups; therefore, it requires special permits through the Government registered trekking company. This is one of the most spectacular treks in the Himalaya, as this area offers a good mix of cultural diversity and fantastic mountain scenery. The trekking in Manaslu region is one of the most delightful adventures. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft) and transfer to Hotel then Alliance Adventure Pvt. Ltd will brief about your trip Manaslu Trek. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast & Dinner

Day 02: Sightseeing and Pre-Pration your Trekking

Sightseeing in Kathmandu world heritage site. Guide of Alliance Adventure will explore the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu’s Landmarks that are considered as World Heritage Sites; including the historic Durbar Square, the houses of living Hindu goddess and “Kumari House’’. Swayambhunath; stands top of the top hill and west of the city, people mostly know as “Monkey Temple”. This has been registered in UNESCO heritage site. Buddhanath stupa is 5 km east of Kathmandu, one of the largest in the world and number of monasteries and many Tibetan artifacts selling shops and Shopping, Packing in Hotel. Day 03: Drive to Sotikhola via Dhading besi

Drive from Kathmandu to Sotikhola (710m/2,328ft) via Dhading besi 7 to 8 hours. During the journey you will be seeing countryside of lifestyle, that’s offering green hill, rivers, farms and beautiful sceneries. Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 04: Trek to Machha Khola

Trek from Sotikhola to Machha Khola (915m/3,001ft) 6 to 7 hours. Today the trail through beautiful pine forest, suspension bridge in Budhi Gandaki river and the rocky trail of tropical waterfalls, along the trek enjoy the local Gurung villages and rice terraces. Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 05: Trek to Jagat

Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat (1,410m/4,625ft) 6 to 7 hours. The trek walking into the narrow trail and quite of times cross the suspension bridge in the rivers. Along the trail, you can visit small Hot Spring and landslide. Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 06: Trek to Deng

Trek from Jagat to Deng (1,805m/5,920ft) 6 to 7 hours. Again trek over the climbing rocky tail and cross the suspension bridges. After Ekle Bhatti steep on the grassy land slope and trek keep continues west-east of Budhi Gandaki river bank as bamboo forest. Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 07: Trek to Namrung

Trek from Deng to Namrung (2,630m/8,626ft) 6 to 7 hours. After breakfast trek leads Budhi Gandaki valley and forests. The trek walking prok village where you can catch a beautiful view of Siringi Himal and sceneries. Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 08: Trek to Samagaun

Trek from Namrung to Samagaun (3,530m/11,578ft) 6 to 7 hours. Today the trek leads very good views along your trekking. During the trekking will catching Siring Himal, Ganesh Himal and Mt. Manaslu including glaciers. The trail goes forest and village barley terraces and explores one of the famous Ribung Gomba. Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 09: Rest and Acclimatization

Rest and Acclimatization in Samagaun. After breakfast guide will explore you around Sherpa village and very old famous Buddhist monastery – Pungyen Gompa and thousand of stones mani. Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 10: Trek to Samdo

Trek from Samagaun to Samdo (3,860m/12,661ft) 4 to 5 hours. The trek through by Budhi Gandaki river following the stream bridge and trail leads to the Manaslu Base Camp via Larkya La pass. During the trekking, you will see large white kani of stones. Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 11: Trek to Dharmasala / Larkya Phedi

Trek from Samdo to Dharmasala / Larkya Phedi – (4,460m/14,628ft) 4 to 5 hours: Today trek will be following the Budhi Gandaki wooden bridge, Larkya Glacier of a valley and through up a stone guest house which one is not a lodge but kind of shelter people’s call Dharmasala as known Larkya Phedi. Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 12: Trek to Bimthang

Trek from Dharmasala / Larkya Phedi to Bimthang (3,720m/12,201ft) via Larkya Pass (5,160m/16,925ft) 7 to 9 hours. Today is one of the most challenging as you can enjoy the great panorama views during your trekking. Begging your trekking you will see Larkya Peak and continue to the top of the pass outstanding views of Cheo Himal, Kanggaru, Himlung Himal and Annapurna II. Whence you check into your lodge in Bimthang celebrate of your Larkya Pass. Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 13: Trek to Tilije

Trek from Bimthang to Tilije (2,300m/7,544ft) 5 to 6 hours. The trek through and enjoy with last minutes views of Mt. Manaslu, Himlung Himal, Lamjung Himal and Cheo Himal. The trail will be following over Dudh Khola, rhododendron forest, river bank and a village of Gho then, keep continues to the destination of next village. Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 14: Trek to Tal

Trek from Tilije to Tal (1,700m/5,576ft) 5 hours. Today the trail through the beautiful villages, Dudh Khola, along with the trek choertens mani and police checkpoint in Dharapani which is joining another trekking trail of Annapurna Circuit. Trek through Marshyangdi Khola  and large water fall. Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 15: Drive back to Kathmandu

Drive from Tal to Kathmandu by 4wheel 8 to 9 hours. After breakfast drives back to Kathmandu along the Marshyangdi Khola, catching the main town of Pirthivi High way and Trishuli River. Along the drive, you will see beautiful views of rivers and local firms. Check the Hotel, rest, and free. Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 16: Sightseeing and Farewell Dinner

Sightseeing in Kathmandu and farewell Dinner: After breakfast, Half day sightseeing to World Heritage site and you will be free at afternoon and can go for shopping or relax. After this pleasant Adventure Alliance Adventure offer you Nepali typical cultural farewell Dinner. Overnight at Hotel – Breakfast & Dinner

Day 17: Departure your Destination

Departure to Tribhuvan International Airport. Today is last minutes shopping packing and Alliance Adventure takes you to an airport for your onward destination to your own country – Breakfast

  • Strongly advised not to go wandering unless in large group (the “poor” men would have to suffer at the hands of the ladies who would want to shop), Always be aware of your surroundings.
  • Do not / not give money to street children/beggars.
  • Entrance to some temples may be prohibited for non-Hindus & Leather articles are prohibited inside temple precinct.
  • Windproof outer jacket and warm down-filled jacket if afraid of cold.
  • Comfortable trousers for men and loose skirts for women during the day.
  • Gloves, hat or cap, sunglasses, sunblock, lip balm, etc, to avoid sunburn as the sun in high altitude can be quite intense.
  • Lightweight trekking shoes, warm woolen/ thermal socks. (If one is afraid of cold, otherwise, plain ol’ ordinary socks will suffice.
  • Thermal undergarments this is for the night which might be a bit cold, otherwise, tracksuit should suffice.
  • Flashlight and spare batteries.
  • You must start to train yourself when you are free once a week or once a day hiking in Mountain in your country or up and down 2/3 hours morning or evening.
  • We have to need your flight detail and passport photocopy and passport size photo for the trekking permit and Tims cards.
  • 50% deposit in the company account and rest of balance whence you arrive in Kathmandu airport then clear the payment in the office.
  • Nepal visa can apply on arrival gate in Kathmandu airport immigration. Nepal visa charge for 15 Days USD25 and for 30 Days USD 40.
