Mardi Himal Trek is one of the preferred trekking trails in the Annapurna region. This trail has been preferred especially by those trekkers who would like to explore both the sceneries of majestic Himalayas and the rich natural beauties, blend of culture, lifestyles of peoples living in the high lands. The Mardi has been named to the long ridge of the southern slope of Mt. Machhapuchhare, popularly known as fishtail, the most triangular shaped ridge and its summit that from the westerly lower slope of the mountain. Its great skyline is seen even from Phewa Lake at Pokhara. It is situated at the most southerly high point of Mt. Annapurna massif, around these appears majestic grouping of mountains in the central Himalayan that includes five of the 12 highest mountains in the world, all these awaits to this route. Mardi Himal Trekking is designed for those trekkers who are looking for a fresh trekking trail that offers you captivating views of mountain ranges, rich vegetation along with the culture and lifestyle of the ethnic dwellers then this is just the perfect one for you. While having trekking to the area, you will have numerous choices for trekking and hiking. The length of the trekking very much depends upon the requirement of the tourists that how long they want to spend from five-day in short to two weeks.

Mardi Himal Trek begins at Suiket Phedi nearby Pokhara and climbs up to Dhampus with stunning views of Machhapuchare (6997 m) and the Annapurna Mountain ranges. This is truly a private trail, which is considered to be one of the unique trails in the Annapurna region. For the first few days, you will follow the uphill trail as the trek winds along the ridge through forests of birch, rhododendrons, hemlock and pines and finally brings you right in front of Machhapuchare or fishtail and also to the Annapurna South with Mardi Khola river winding its way through the valley thousands of feet below and making excursion around you will follow the same way and end at Pokhara and fly back to Kathmandu.

PACKAGE DETAILS

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft) and transfer to Hotel then Alliance Adventure Pvt. Ltd will brief about your trip Mardi Himal Trek. Overnight at Hotel – Welcome farewell Dinner and Breakfast included.

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara to Dhampush Village then trek to Australia Camp

Drive from Kathmandu to Dhampush village 6 to 7 hours then trek to Australia Camp (1,900m/6,232ft) 1 hour. You will see the countryside of lifestyle, that’s offering green hill, rivers, farms and beautiful sceneries. Australia camp, can’t believe how amazing top of the Hill and middle of the forest with majestic panoramic views of Annapurna range. Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 03: Trek to Forest Camp

Trek from Australia Camp to Forest Camp (2,550m/8,364ft) 5 to 6 hours. After breakfast trek leading Oak and Rhododendron forest and enjoy the walk with various species of birds, mountain longueur monkeys. The magnificent views of Annapurna range including the 7th highest mountain in the world Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m/26,800ft). Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 04: Trek to Lower Base Camp

Trek from Forest Camp to Lower Base Camp (3,150m/10,332ft) 4 to 5 hours. The trail passes through flora and fauna that has turned to a classic forest. You can catch the panoramas of Himchuli and Annapurna South. The trek through surrounded by forest and magnificent views of Mt. Fishtail people’s knows as (Machhapuchhre). Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 05: Trek to High Camp

Trek from Lower Camp to High Camp (3,900m/12,792ft) 3 to 4 hours. Today is the short day trekking as you enjoy snow-capped panoramic views and scenery’s, flora and fauna, magnificent views of Mt. Fishtail which one is Nepal Holy mountain. Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 06: Hiking to view point and Rest

Hiking to Mardi Himal viewpoint (4,500m/14,760ft) 4 to 5 hours. Today is the challenging day of unforgettable adventure in the life. Guide and Potter will carry your pack lunch during your hiking to the viewpoint. The trail through amazing magnificent views of Mardi Himal and whole Annapurna range from the viewpoint. Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 07: Trek to Sriding Village

Trek from High Camp to Sriding Village (1,750m/5,740ft) 6 hours. The trail will lead following until the lower camp, after that trek through Mardi Khola, dense forest and friendly little settlements, lovely fields. Overnight at Lodge – Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 08: Trek to Lumre then Pokhara

Trek from Sriding to Lumre 3 to 4 hours and Drive back to Pokhara 1 and half hour.  After breakfast trail through settlements of the ethnic group of villages and following the river, beautiful views of Himalayan and sceneries. check into the Hotel and Rest. Overnight at Hotel – Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 09: Sightseeing in Pokhara

After breakfast, your guide will explore around Pokhara valley. The worth places Stupa, Fewa Lake, Devi’s fall, Gupteshower Cave, Tibetan Refugee Settlement and International Mountaineering Museum. We will relax rest of the day in Hotel or Shopping around the lakeside. Overnight at Hotel – Breakfast is included.

Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu 200km 6 to 7 hours. The journey through the Prithvi highway road passing by terraces, streams, rivers, local settlements, hills and along the Marshyndi and Trishuli rivers. Check the Hotel rest and free. Overnight at Hotel – Breakfast and Lunch included.

Day 11: Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Farewell Dinner

Alliance Adventure Tour Guide sightseeing explore of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu’s Landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites; including the historic Durbar Square, the houses of living Hindu goddess and “Kumari House’’. Swayambhunath; stands top of the top hill and west of the city, people mostly known as “Monkey Temple”. This has been registered in UNESCO heritage site. Buddhanath stupa is 5 km east of Kathmandu, one of the largest in the world and number of monasteries and many Tibetan artifacts selling shops. Pashupatinath is the Hindus holy pilgrims, most impotent Hindu Temple in Nepal and all over from India. Bathing at occasionally, funeral pyres burning on the Ghats and Stands on the banks of Bagmati River. Overnight at Hotel – Breakfast and Dinner included.

Day 12: Departure your Destination

Departure to International Airport. Today is last minutes shopping, packing and Alliance Adventure send to the airport for your onward destination to your own country. Breakfast is included.

  •  Gloves, hat or cap, sunglasses, sunblock, lip balm, etc. To avoid sunburn as the sun in high altitude can be quite intense.
  • Muscle-ache cream, Mosi-Guard insect repellent spray.
  • Lightweight trekking shoes, warm woolen/ thermal socks. (If one is afraid of cold, otherwise, plain ol’ ordinary socks will suffice.
  • Thermal undergarments this is for the night which might be a bit cold, otherwise, tracksuit should suffice.
  • Flashlight and spare batteries.
  • You must start to train yourself when you are free once a week once or one day hiking in Mountain in your country or up and down 2/3 hours morning OR evening.
  • We have to need your flight detail arrival and departure date and time with airline name.
  • We have to need your passport photocopy and pp size photo for the trekking permit and Tims cards.
  •  50% per person deposit to company account and rest of balance when you arrive at Kathmandu airport clear the payment in the office.
