Mohare Danda Trek is one of the classic treks in Nepal. It is also called the Annapurna region trek. The route is specially designed for those trekkers who love to see and enjoy the flora and fauna and panoramic view of the Himalayan range. The trekking route takes to the most spectacular mountain scenery, charming settlements of  Ethic groups and their slate-roofed houses, incredible rhododendron forests and deep sub-tropical valleys. Along the route, there is the Ghorepani poon hill (3210m) one of the best panoramic view centers of Annapurna trekking, Muktinath, and Annapurna sanctuary. While having trek, you will pass through the gorgeous lowlands of the wonderful high mountains and breathtaking scenes of the Annapurna range. Mohare Danda begins in the terraced foothills close to Pokhara.

PACKAGE DETAILS

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft) and transfer to Hotel then  Alliance Adventure will brief about your trip Mohare Danda Trek. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast & Dinner

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara

Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (9,50m/3,116ft) 6 to 7 hours. During the journey you will be seeing the countryside of lifestyle, that’s offering green hill, rivers, farms and beautiful scenery’s. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 03: Drive to Ghumaune Tal than Trek to Bas-Kharka

Drive from Pokhara to Ghumaune Tal via Beni than Trek to Bas-Kharka (1,525m/5,002ft) 3 to 4 hours. The journey through along beautiful of Mountain sceneries, hills, rivers, farms, villages and you are reaching ghumaune tal which trails goes to Jomsom Muktinath too. After lunch trek leads to cross a suspension bridge over the Kaligandaki rive to Bas Kharka. The trail begins till your destination will steep climb up the step on a rock. Overnight at community lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 04: Trek from Bas-Kharka to Nagi

Trek from Bas Kharka to Nagi (2,300m) 5 to 6 hours: The trek through into the large Pun Magar settlements and center of community Eco Village and exploring the Magar culture, organic farm, and village school. Overnight at community Lodge – B.L.D

Day 05: Trek from Nagi to Mohare Danda

Trek from Nagi to Mohare Danda (3,300m) 6 to 7 hours: Today the trail into the forest of oaks, bamboo, and rhododendrons to Mohare Danda that is offering most of Amazing Annapurna Range of Mt. Dhaulagiri  7th highest mountain in the world as in the Annapurna Region. Overnight community Lodge – B.L.D

Day 06: Trek from Mohare Danda to Ghorepani

Trek from Mohare Danda to Ghorepani (2,840m/9,315ft) 3 to 4 hours. The trail leading to Rhododendron forest and surrounded Himalayas magnificent views, then check into the Lodge in Ghorepani, walking around small market town. Overnight at Lodge – B.L.D

Day 07: Hike to Poon Hill then trek to Chule

Early morning Hike to Poon Hill (3,210m/10,529ft) 1 hour and trek to Chule (2,520m/8,266ft) 5 to 6 hours. Today you will see the amazing sunrise and spectacular views of Annapurna range and wonderful panoramic views of the 7th Highest mountain in the world Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m). Then trek from Ghorepani to Chule via Tadapani. Overnight at Lodge – B.L.D

Day 08: Trek from Chule to Bamboo

Trek from Chule to Bamboo (2,335m/7,590ft) 6 to 7 hours. The trail will leads flight steps down to Gurjung Khola and stone steps to the Chhomrong Khola and wooded slopes of Himalayan, suspension bridge and thick bamboo forest. Overnight at Lodge – B.L.D

Day 09: Trek from Bamboo to Deurali

Trek from Bamboo to Deurali (3,200m/10,496ft) 5 hours. The trekking leads gradually climb up along the river through Oak, rhododendron, thick bamboo forests, solitary places, and Hankow cave. Overnight at Lodge – B.L.D

Day 10: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp

Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,547ft) 5 to 6 hours. Trek to Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m/12,136ft), along with the trek you will enjoy magnificent views and you will stand at the center point of the Himalayan and can see amazing sunset and sunrise from base camp. Overnight at Lodge – B.L.D

Day 11: Trek back to Dovan

Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Dovan (2,505m/8,217ft) 5 hours. Early morning catch the magnificent sunrise over the Himalayan and panoramic views, then trek down to Dovan. Overnight at Lodge –B.L.D

Day 12: Trek to Jinu Danda

Trek from Dovan to Jinu Danda (1,610m/5,281ft) 5 to 6 hours. The trails lead unforgettable in the life stone steps in Chhomrong village and will enjoy the Hot Spring natural water 20 minutes far from your lodge. Overnight at Lodge – B.L.D

Day 13: Trek to Siwui than Drive to Pokhara

Trek from Jinu Danda to Siwui 3 hours than Drive back to Pokhara 2 hours and check to the Hotel and explore around Pokhara valley. Overnight at Hotel – BB

Day 14: Drive back to Kathmandu

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu 200km 6 to 7 hours. The journey will be through the Prithvi highway road passing by terraces, streams, rivers, local settlements, hills and along the Marshyndi and Trishuli rivers. Check into the Hotel, rest and Alliance Adventure will offer Nepali culture Dinner and hand over your trekking permit, Tims card. Overnight at Hotel – BB

Day 15: Departure your Destination

Departure to Tribhuvan International Airport. Today is last minutes shopping, packing and Alliance Adventure take you to the airport for an onward destination to your country.

  • 2Nights Hotel in Kathmandu with BB Plan.
  • 2Nights Hotel in Pokhara with BB plan.

  • Strongly advised not to go wandering unless in large group (the “poor” men would have to suffer at the hands of the ladies who would want to shop).
  • Always be aware of your surroundings.
  • Do not / not give money to street children/beggars.
  • Entrance to some temples may be prohibited for non-Hindus.
  • Leather articles are prohibited inside temple precinct.
  • Windproof outer jacket and warm down-filled jacket good if afraid of cold.
  • Comfortable trousers for men and loose skirts for women during the day.
  • Gloves, hat or cap, sunglasses, sunblock, lip balm, etc, to avoid sunburn as the sun in high altitude can be quite intense.
  • Lightweight trekking shoes, warm woolen/ thermal socks. (If one is afraid of cold, otherwise, plain ol’ ordinary socks will suffice.
  • Thermal undergarments this is for the night which might be a bit cold, otherwise, tracksuit should suffice.
  • Flashlight and spare batteries.
  • You must start training yourself if possible every day OR if can’t make it once a week or one day hiking in the Mountain in your country or up and down 2/3 hours morning OR evening.
  • We have to need your flight detail with airline name.
  • We have to need your passport photo copy and passport size photo for the trekking permit and Tims cards, you can send by email to scan.
  • Per person, 50% deposit in the company account and rest of balance whence you arrive in Hotel then clear the payment in the office.
  • If you have time and there is Nepal embassy around you can apply for Nepal visa in your country, will be more easy for you and if you can’t make it or very far from your town you can apply in arrival gate in Kathmandu airport. Nepal visa charge for 15 Days USD25 and for 30 Days USD 40.
