Nar Phu Trek is one of the newly opened trekking in Annapurna region. It was opened for the trekkers only in 2003. This trekking has been considered one of the best routes for trekking for those who would like to capture the scenic views of the majestic mountains and natural landscapes in the high land. It is one of the demanded trekking routes among the clients of Alliance Adventure Pvt. Ltd. Nar Phu Trek is combined with Annapurna round trekking. It passes through high peaks and passes, glaciers, remote villages, narrow canyons, lovely forests, amazing rock formations, gompas and unique Himalayan cultures. The Phu is the most beautiful medieval village where you can learn the real lifestyles of Bhote communities; enjoy and have a pleasure of the fabulous and typical landscape of the valley. While having trekking to this area, you can experience the deepest gorge and natural hot spring (Tatopani ), mixed culture of Brahmin, Chhetri, Gurung, Thakali, Tibetan sherpa, Magars, Rai among others and splendid summits of the spectacular Himalayan which can be viewed in the Annapurna Himalayan range.

The trekking to the Nar and Phu valley takes you to the remote but alluring region of Nepal. Unlike other regions of Nepal, trekking the region of Nar and Phu you will observe that the landscape is similar to that of Tibet. One will not only enjoys the delightful sights of quaint Tibetan villages, astounding rock formations, high altitude grazing settlements, narrow canyons, deep forests and majestic snow clad peaks during your trek to the Nar and Phu valley. Narphu Valley trekking offers spectacular regions of ethnically-Tibetan inhabitants and combines remote villages, narrow canyons, lovely forests, amazing rock formations, yaks, gompas and unique Himalayan cultures also include the Annapurna circuit trekking, the trek off the beaten crossing through Challenging high passes like Masokanto La (5099m), Kangla pass (5200m) & Tilicho Pass (5230m) with beautiful Lake Tilicho.

Nar Phu valley Trek starts from the famous trekking route in the Annapurna region via Besi Sahar walking through a unique Marsyandi Valley then follow up off the beaten trails until you get Nar Phu. After visiting Narphu Valley area then the trek takes back to Manang, a beautiful village of Annapurna trail and continue trek to Tilicho route. After trekking about five days through Tilicho Lake (The lake in the highest place in the world 4912m) and two beautiful but challenging pass of Annapurna trekking region trek to Jomsom than by flight back to Pokhara or continue trek to Annapurna loop via natural hot spring and reach the best viewpoint of the Annapurna region known as Ghorepani Poon hill 3210m, after viewed the panoramic Himalayan scenery Trek to Naya Pul then drive back to Pokhara and we return back to Kathmandu.

PACKAGE DETAILS

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft) and transfer to Hotel then Alliance Adventure Pvt. Ltd will brief about your trip in Nepal. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast & Dinner

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Half day Sightseeing in Kathmandu world Heritage site and preparation your Nar Phu trekking. After breakfast Alliance Adventure Tour Guide come to pick-up in your Hotel for the exploration of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu’s Landmarks that are considered as World Heritage Sites; including the historic Durbar Square, the houses of living Hindu goddess and “Kumari House’’. Swayambhunath; stands top of the hill and west of the city, people mostly know as “Monkey Temple”. This has been registered in UNESCO heritage site. Buddhanath stupa is 5 km east of Kathmandu, one of the largest in the world and number of monasteries and many Tibetan artifacts selling shops. Pashupatinath is the Hindus holy pilgrims, most impotent Hindu Temple in Nepal and all over from India. Bathing at occasionally, funeral pyres burning on the Ghats and Stands on the banks of Bagmati River. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast

Day 03: Drive to Chamje

Drive from Kathmandu to Chamje (1,430m/4,700ft) 7 to 8 hours. During the journey you will see the countryside of Nepal that’s offering green hill, rivers, farms and beautiful sceneries. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 04: Trek to Dharapani

Trek from Chamje to Dharapani (1,900m/6,232ft) 5 to 6 hours. Trekking through into the suspension bridge, waterfall, climb up into the forest, entering Manang District from Tal (1,600m/5,248ft) and keeping peaceful sceneries. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 05: Trek to Koto

Trek from Dharapani to Koto (2,600m/8,528ft) 4 hours. The trail will be leading to Tibetan and Gurung settlement, from the Timang (2,50m/7,708ft) if the weather will be clear you can see magnificent views of Mt. Manaslu and Annapurna II and wonderful pine forest sceneries. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Day 06: Trek to Dharmasala

Trek from Koto to Dharmasala (3,230m/10,600ft) 6 to 7 hours. Today the trail will be heading different by Annapurna circuit and a difficult day. The trekking climbs up beautiful woods, forest, waterfall, narrow canyon, shelters (caves) and Pilgrims Dharmasala and wider landscape. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 07: Trek to Kayang

Trek from Dharmasala to Kayang (3,740m/12,275ft) 5 to 6 hours. Trek will gently be walking up a small scenic river, Himalayan panoramic views, white rocks, and chako semi-permanent settlement, one where “Khampas” from the Tibet sometimes sheltered. All the rooftop prayer flags with truly amazing sceneries. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 08: Trek to Phu

Trek from Kayang to Phu (4,050m/13,284ft) 4 to 5 hours. Trek leads along the river bank, wonderful unique colorful Chorten Monastery and famous landscape in Nar and Phu. People’s mostly call Pupigyal Kwe. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 09: Rest of Acclimatization

Rest of Acclimatization and explore the Phu village culture, story of Dalai Lama, local people’s spending with the yak, sheep wool, chat, pound mustard seeds into a paste for oil and Tibetan village of photographers light of spectacular and country old monastery. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 10: Trek to Nar village

Trek from Phu to Nar village (4,150m/13,612ft) 5 hours. Along the trekking you can catch wonderful gorges, breathtaking scenery’s, beautiful bamboo topped Chortens, Charkha and Jhunam via reach to Nar gate top of the Hill. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 11: Trek to Kang La Phedi

Trek from Nar Village to Kang La Phedi (4,500m/14,760ft) 4 hours. Today trekking is short and easy. The trail through grazing filed and small stream and at left-hand side majestic view of Pisang peak. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 12: Trek to Ngwal

Trek from Kang La Phedi to Ngwal (3,675m/12,054ft) via Kang La Pass 6 to 7 hours. Early morning you start your trekking to Kang La Pass which is offering magnificent views of Annapurna range and trail through into the Ngwal which is a beautiful old village, groups of Chortens Buddist prayer flags and wonderful architectures. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 13: Trek to Manang Village

Trek from Ngwal to Manang (3,540m/11,612ft) 4 to 5 hours. Trek through in pine juniper forest, farming terrace of a mungi and beautiful village of Braga joining into the main trail of Annapurna circuit trek and visit monastery, perched on a high crag overlooking the village and destination in Manang village. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 14: Rest and Acclimatization in Manang

Rest and Acclimatization in Manang. After breakfast short hike to tranquil Gangapurna Lake and enjoy spectacular views of Annapurna range and visit Himalayan Recuse Association brief you about High altitude sickness by international volunteer Doctors. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 15: Trek to Letder

Trek from Manang Village to Letder (4,200m/13,776ft) 5 to 6 hours. The trekking crosses a stream climb up to Tangki Manang, gradually through the trek offering panoramic views of Annapurna and sceneries and meadows where horses and yak graze. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 16: Trek to Thorong Phedi OR High Camp

Trek from Letder to Thorong Phedi (4,450m/14,596ft) 3 to 4 hours OR High Camp (4,850m/15,908ft) 5 to 6 hours. Trek leading to Jarang Khola with around covered snow mountains and Phedi and high camp, one of the busiest settlement catering to the needs of tired trekkers. The trekkers if not filling well stay in Phedi and who has enough energy will continue to high camp. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 17: Trek to Thorong La Pass and Muktinath

Trek from Thorong Phedi to Thorong La Pass (5,416m/17,800ft) to Muktinath (3,800m/12,464ft) 9 to 10 hours. Lifetime unforgettable experience after crossing famous high pass in the trekking at a world. You have to walk hard through into the ice and rocky high altitude trail as outstanding Himalaya are sucking your eyes to watch more views of Himalayan on the trek. Check into the lodge and rest, after successfully crossing thorong la pass Celebration of Dinner. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 18: Drive to Jomsom by 4wheel

Drive from Muktinath to Jomsom 2 hours. In the morning visit to holy pilgrimage site for both Hindu and Buddhist monastery, committed to the Lord Vishnu. Nearby Muktinath Temple there is a Jwala Mai Temple which has 108 waterspout and everlasting flame fed by natural underground gas. After lunch drive to Jomsom. Overnight at Lodge – B.L.D

Day 19: Flight to Pokhara

Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara 25 to 30 minutes. Early morning during the flight you will catch the spectaculars views of Himalayan. After checking into the Hotel, you will be sightseeing the Pokhara city. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast

Day 20: Sightseeing in Pokhara

After breakfast, your Guide will take you around Pokhara valley. The worth places Stupa, Fewa Lake, Devi’s fall, Gupteshower Cave, Tibetan Refugee Settlement and International Mountaineering Museum. We will relax rest of the day in Hotel or Shopping around the lakeside. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast

Day 21: Drive back to Kathmandu and Farewell Dinner

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu – 200km 6 to 7 hours. The journey through the Prithvi highway road passing by terraces, streams, rivers, local settlements, hills and along the Marshyndi and Trishuli rivers. Check the Hotel, rest and free. After this pleasant Adventure we will offer you Nepali typical culture dinner and Alliance Adventure hand over your Trekking Permit, TIMS Card and Certificate for the Nepal Adventure memory of your life. Day 22: Departure your Destination

Departure to Tribhuvan International Airport. Today is last minutes shopping packing and Alliance Adventure takes you to the airport for your onward destination to your own country. Included Breakfast

  • Entrance to some temples may be prohibited for non-Hindus and Leather articles are prohibited inside temple precinct.
  • Windproof outer jacket and warm down-filled jacket if afraid of cold.
  • Comfortable trousers for men and loose skirts for women during the day.
  • Gloves, hat or cap, sunglasses, sunblock, lip balm, etc, to avoid sunburn as the sun in high altitude can be quite intense.
  • Lightweight trekking shoes, warm woolen/ thermal socks. (If one is afraid of cold, otherwise, plain ol’ ordinary socks will suffice.
  • Thermal undergarments this is for the night which might be a bit cold, otherwise, tracksuit should suffice.
  • Flashlight and spare batteries.
  • You must start to train yourself when you are free once a week or one day hiking in Mountain in your country or up and down 2/3 hours morning OR evening.
  • We have to need your flight details and passport photocopy and passport size photo for the trekking permit and Tims cards.
  • 50% deposit per person in the company account and rest of balance whence you arrive in Kathmandu Airport clear the payment in the office.
  • Nepal visa can apply on arrival gate in Kathmandu airport immigration. Nepal visa charge for 15 Days USD25 and for 30 Days USD 40.
