Ruby Valley Trek is newly explored trekking trail in the Ganesh Himalayan region of Nepal. The area is mainly populated by Tamang, Gurung, and Ghale to the north, whereas Bramhin, Chhetri, Dalit, Newar, and Chepang are to the south in the lower elevations. Ruby Valley Trek is concealed between the popular destinations of Langtang National Park and the Manaslu Conservation Area Project. Wildflowers flourish and waterfalls embellish the lush hill scenery in a land blessed with wide-ranging geographical, cultural and biological diversity is the interesting of this trek. Sensational viewpoints feature the sublime Himalaya to the north. Most prominent is the Ganesh Himal Range – a family of peaks among the most attractive of the entire Himalaya.

The Ganesh massif is named in honor of Hindu deity Ganesh, son of Shiva and Parbati. The Ganesh Himal area has some excellent viewpoints that offer magnificent views of peaks and valleys. Most rewarding are the magnificent Ganga Jamuna (Twin waterfalls) Kalo (Black), Seto (White) and Ganesh Kunda, hot spring and Tripurasundari temple and especially the hospitable people that inhabit the region. Ruby Valley trek is also known as Ganesh Himal Base Camp Trek.

PACKAGE DETAILS

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft) and transfer to Hotel then Alliance Adventure Pvt. Ltd will brief about your trip to Ruby Valley. Overnight at Hotel – BB.

Day 02: Drive to Syabru Besi

Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi (1,440m/4,725ft) 5 to 6 hours. During the journey will see the countryside of lifestyle in Nepal, that’s offering Trishuli river, green hill, farms and beautiful sceneries. Overnight at Lodge – B.L.D

Day 03: Trek to Gatlang

Trek from Syabru Besi to Gatlang (2,337m/7,665ft) 5 to 6 hours. After breakfast trail through to Bahun Danda and Chautara which is a getaway to Gatlang, one of most popular trekking trail in Nepal known as Tamang Heritage trail where there is the only settlement of Tamang cultures and amazing magnificent views. Overnight at Lodge – B.L.D

Day 04: Trek to Somdang

Trek from Gatlangto Somdang (3,271m/10,729ft) 6 to 7 hours. Then the trek through rhododendron and pine forest, Village of Khurphu Bhanjyang and the trail leads down to Somdang river which is the border of Rasuwa and Dhading Districts. During the trek, you will see the scenic valley, waterfall and explore to Somdang from where Zinc, Copper, Tin, and Crystal are exported.  Overnight at Lodge – B.L.D

Day 05: Trek to Tipling

Trek from Somdang to Tipling (2,078m/6,816ft) via Pangsang Pass (3,842m/12,602ft) 6 to 7 hours. Today the trekking will be more challenging and you will catch unforgettable breathtaking sceneries and panorama views including Mt. Manaslu (8,163m/26,775ft) No 8th Highest mountain in the world and Ganesh Himal Range.  Tipling is large Tamang village as own rich culture’s of Buddhism during this trek. Overnight at home-stay – B.L.D

Day 06: Trek to Borang Village

Trek from Tipling to Borang Village (1,700m/5,576ft) 5 to 6 hours. After Ganesh Himal overlooking the trek walk into the villages Shertung and Chalish as people’s call sister village to Shertung village search by Tamang. Chalish village is mixed ethnic groups. Borang village is Tamang community village and has a similar culture of Tipling and Shertung village. Overnight at home stay – B.L.D

Day 07: Trek to Darkha Gaun

Trek from Borang Village to Darkha Gaun (850m/2,788ft) 7 to 8 hours. The trail leads by Lishne Khola and passing through suspension bridges, during the trek you will see beautiful scenery’s as well as Ri Village. Darkha Guan has mixed cultures village of Tamang and Brahman. Overnight at home-stay – B.L.D

Day 08: Trek to Dhading Besi then Kathmandu

Darkha Gaun to  Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft) via Darkha Phedi and Dhading Besi 6 to 7 hours Drive. After breakfast, an hour walk-down to Darkha Phedi as soon as you arrived you will take a local sharing jeep to Dhading Besi and again as soon as you arrive Dhading Besi take private transportation to return to Kathmandu by Pirthivi highway. Check into the Hotel free and rest. Overnight at Hotel – BB

Day 09: Sightseeing and Farewell Dinner

Sightseeing world Heritage site at Kathmandu Durbar Square – Kumari House, Swayambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple and Farewell Nepali Culture Dinner. Overnight at Hotel – BB

Day 10: Departure your Destination

Departure to International Airport. Today is last minutes shopping, packing and Alliance Adventure send to the airport for your onward destination to your own country.

  • Strongly advised not to go wandering unless in large group (the “poor” men would have to Suffer at the hands of the ladies who would want to shop).
  • Always be aware of your surroundings.
  • Entrance to some temples may be prohibited for non-Hindus & Leather articles are prohibited inside temple precinct.
  • Windproof outer jacket and warm down-filled jacket if afraid of cold.
  • Comfortable trousers for men and loose skirts for women during the day.
  • Gloves, hat or cap, sunglasses, sunblock, lip balm, etc. To avoid sunburn as the sun in high altitude can be quite intense.
  • Lightweight trekking shoes, warm woolen/ thermal socks. (If one is afraid of cold, otherwise, plain ol’ ordinary socks will suffice.
  • Thermal undergarments this is for the night which might be a bit cold, otherwise, tracksuit should suffice.
  • Flashlight and spare batteries.
  • You much start to training yourself if possible every day and if can’t make it once a week or 1 day hiking in Mountain in your country or up and down morning and evening.
  • We have to need your flight detail and passport photocopy and Passport size photo for the trekking permit and Tims cards
  • 50% per person deposit to company account and rest of balance when you arrive at Kathmandu airport clear the payment in the office.
  • Nepal visa can apply on arrival gate in Kathmandu airport immigration. Nepal visa charge for 15 Days USD25 and for 30 Days USD 40.
