This trekking is also known as royal trek as Prince Charles had a trek through the area in 1980 to visit the villages of Gurkha recruits, as part of an effort to develop this into a model Eco-trekking route.

Sikles Trek begins from Pokhara, where you reach either by direct flight or bus from Kathmandu, generally, you will camp near the Begnas lake, next day you begin the trekking from Begnas Tal (Lake) and heads to the north to Baral along with the Madi Khola. Subsequently, to Chymarang and finally you will reach at well-preserved Siklis (1,980m) through the Gurung villages. Throughout the way, you will have magnificent views of Himalaya, farms and scattered forests filled with various kinds of birds. You make trips along the Sikles and explore the areas which have not yet been explored and then you will head up to Hoga and explore the areas and take snaps of the Himalayas and natural inhabitants of the area and then you will head to Chipli, Burijung Khola, Bharaburi and then to Chisopani and subsequently you will reach Pokhara and return back to Kathmandu.
