Tamang Heritage Trek is another popular trekking trail in Langtang region and situated at the Tibet border. It is enclosed with the snow-capped mountains that end in the peak of Langtang Lirung (7246m). The  Tamang Heritage trail offers superb Himalayan views including of Langtang Lirung, Langtang Himalayan range and Ganesh Himal range among others, as well as the nature Hot Spring water, Tibetan monasteries, wild animals such as mountain snow leopards, jackal, red panda,  monkeys therefore, it has been the center of attraction among many tourists coming to Nepal.

Tamang Heritage  Trek begins from Syabru Bensi, which can be reached by 7 to 8-hour drive from Kathmandu, then trek through larch and rhododendron forests which is rich in wildflowers and birds and between you can explore and enjoy the stunning views of Mt. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and the Annapurna massif. During the trekking, you will pass through the sub-tropical jungle, then a dense forest of oak, birch, and pine, and the valley, which is of alpine meadows and yak pastures, then you will descend from the upper Langtang Valley, retracing the route back to Syabru besi village then drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft) and transfer to Hotel then visit Alliance Adventure Pvt. Ltd will brief about your trip Tamang Heritage Trail. Overnight at Hotel – Included Dinner

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi

Drive from Kathmandu to  Syabru Besi (1,440m/4,725ft) 5 to 6 hours. During the journey you will see the countryside of lifestyle in Nepal, that’s offering Trishuli river, green hill, farms and beautiful sceneries. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 03: Trek to Gatlang Village

Trek from Syabru Besi to Gatlang (2,238m/7,341ft) 5 to 6 hours. Today is an enjoyable day of the trekking. The trail through small villages, along with the trek many numerous Buddhist Chortens and Mani walls. Gatlang is one of the beautiful boasts carved wooden houses of Tamang village residents and Tibetan culture lifestyle. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 04: Trek to Tatopani - Hot Spring

Trek from Gatlang to Tatopani (2,607m/8,551ft) 5 to 6 hours. Today the trail descends to Thanbuchet. The trek leading to magnificent views of Langtang range and Ganesh Hill, passing by Chilime Hydropower dam, small hanging bridge, and Tato – Hot & Pani – water, natural hot spring but after Earthquake it was no longer than that on 25th April 2015. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 05: Trek to Thuman

Trek from Tatopani to Thuman (2,338m/7,670ft) via Nagthali (3,165m/10,381ft) 6 to 7 hours. The trail walking through an alpine forest, small Tamang village of Brimdang and Nagthali pass which is the highest pass in this trek as offering panoramic views of  Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, Sanjen, Kerung and settlement Tamang village of Thuman. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 06: Trek to Briddim

Trek from Thuman to Briddim (2,239m/7,345ft) 5 to 6 hours. Today the trek through Tibetan Buddhist village, along the trek visit Dukchu Gomba and Tibetan influenced Tamang village located in the bosom of the Langtang Himal. Briddim houses are totally made up of stone and roofs of split shake. Overnight at Lodge – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 07: Trek to Syabru Besi then Drive to Nuwakot Durbar

Trek from Briddim to Syabru Besi 3 to 4 hours than Drive to Trishuli Bazaar to Nuwakot Durbar 2 hours. The trail leads to the river view on the left side of the valley and passing through paddy and corn fields we finally descent to Syabru besi as soon as reach Syabru besi drive to Nuwakot Durbar. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 08: Drive back to Kathmandu and Farewell Dinner

Drive from Nuwakot Durbar to Kathmandu 3 hours. Early morning visit to Nuwakot Durbar, top of the Hill in Trishuli Bazaar, takes around 20 minutes drive from the Bazaar and Durbar built by Prithvi Narayan Shah. After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu and free at afternoon and we Alliance Adventure will offer you a typical Nepali Cultural Dinner. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast & Dinner

Day 09: Departure your Destination

Departure to Tribhuvan International Airport. Today is last minutes shopping packing and Alliance Adventure takes you to the airport for your onward destination to your own country.

  • Drive from Kathmandu to Joljung Village and Syabru Besi to Kathmandu by private transport.

  • Warm down Jacket, Sleeping Bag, and walking pole after trek return to Company.

  • No flashy stuff-jewellery, valuables etc.
  • Strongly advised not to go wandering unless in large group (the “poor” men would have to suffer at the hands of the ladies who would want to shop), Always be aware of your surroundings.
  • Do not / not give money to street children/beggars.
  • Entrance to some temples may be prohibited for non-Hindus and Leather articles are prohibited inside temple precinct.
  • Windproof outer jacket and warm down-filled jacket if afraid of cold.
  • Comfortable trousers for men and loose skirts for women during the day.
  • Gloves, hat or cap, sunglasses, sunblock, lip balm, etc, to avoid sunburn as the sun in high altitude can be quite intense.
  • Lightweight trekking shoes, warm woolen/ thermal socks. (If one is afraid of cold, otherwise, plain ol’ ordinary socks will suffice.
  • Thermal undergarments this is for the night which might be a bit cold, otherwise, tracksuit should suffice.
  • Flashlight and spare batteries.
  • You most start train yourself when you are free once a week or once a day hiking in Mountain in your country or up and down 2/3 hours morning OR evening.
  • We have to need your flight detail and passport photocopy and passport size photo for the trekking permit and Tims cards.
  • 50% deposit in the company account and rest of balance whence you arrive in Kathmandu airport then clear the payment in the office.
  • Nepal visa can apply on arrival visa in Kathmandu airport immigration. Nepal visa charge for 15 Days USD25 and for 30 Days USD 40.
