Then drive to Punakha which is above the Dochu La pass(3,050m/10,004ft). After that, you will be visiting the oldest Dzong in Bhutan, Simtokha Dzong; National Museum, Satsam Chorten Monastery, Paro Rinpung Dzong, local farmhouse and Paro market and many more. Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

Arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu Nepal (1,300m/4,264ft) and transfer to Hotel then Alliance Adventure will brief about your Bhutan Trip. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast & Dinner

Day 02: Flight to Paro than Drive to Thimphu

The flight Paro by Druk Air, introduction to the spectacular beauty of our country and magnificent views of the world’s highest peaks, give way to the lush green Paro valley. Bhutan agency will welcome you on arrival hall and drive to the Paro Rimpung Dzong, the center of civil and religious authority in this region. After this, we will have lunch in the Paro town. Then we will drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. It will take 1 and half hours by the drive. Overnight at Hotel – Included breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 03: Sightseeing and explore in Thimphu Halt

Today visit to National Memorial Chorten built in honor of our late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck than drive to one of the eight largest Buddha statue in the world and Drupthop Lhakhang one of the few surviving nunneries in Bhutan. The tours through to viewpoint of Tashichho Dzong, a seat of the national government and Central Monastic Body, including summer residence of Je Khenpo (Chief Abbot of Bhutan), for your photograph and Folk Heritage Museum. After lunch, you will visit Painting School where traditional art is still kept alive. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 04: Drive from Thimphu to Punakha

After breakfast drive to Punakha via Wangdue Phodrang around 3 hours. from the Dochula pass (3,150m/10,332ft) you can catch eastern Himalayan ranges of spectacular view on the clear day then Wangduephodrang valley (1,300m/4,264ft) sea level. The Wangdue Dzong was founded by Lama Zhamdrung in 1638. After lunch drive to Punakha and along the drive visit Chhimi Lhakhang, which is located at hilltop as you have to walk 25 minutes from the road. This temple is known as fertility temple. After that continue your journey to Punakha and visit Punakha Dzong, it was the winter capital of Bhutan until 1955 when was permanently shifted to Thimphu. It still served as the winter residence for the monk body. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast. Lunch & Dinner

Day 05: Drive from Punakha to Paro

Today you will drive to Paro 4 hours 30 minutes. During the drive visit to the viewpoint of Khamsum Yule Namgyel chorten and over the Dochula pass. The lunch will Dochula Cafeteria after that continues your journey to Paro. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 06: Hiking and explore in Paro Halt

Early breakfast and hike to  Taktshang (Tiger’s Nest) monastery 2 to 3 hours and the main complex were destroyed by fire in 1998. The Tiger’s nest monastery was founded by Guru Rinpoche who flew on the back of a Tigress and he mediated in a cave for three months and the original temple was built by Desi Tenzin Rabgye in 1646. This place is considered sacred to the Mahayana Buddhists and one of the highlights in Bhutan. The lunch in Taktsang cafeteria and after lunch back to Paro. Leisure evening in the town and last minute shopping. Overnight at Hotel – Included Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 07: Flight from Paro Airport to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport
